Abstract
image2dc.sh is a script that extracts metadata from image files using exiftool. It then uses lots of sed commands to transform the output to Dublin Core to be ingested in Rosetta. This script was built for a specific collection at Binghamton University and may be of limited use to others and it is not pretty, but can a script full of sed commands ever be pretty?
